This article currently has one or more unidentified weapons. If you can help identify any of the weapons labelled "unknown," please do so.
Belly of the Beast is a 2003 direct-to-DVD action movie directed by Ching Siu Tung and starring Steven Seagal as Jake Hopper, former CIA agent who is trying to free his kidnapped daughter.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Belly of the Beast:
Jake Hopper (Steven Seagal) carries M1911A1 in several scenes. In the final scene he uses a suppressed verison of the pistol. Several other characters are also seen with M1911A1 pistols.
A Bangkok taxi driver (Akaluk Oisingo) aims an unidentified pistol at Jake Hopper (Steven Seagal). It is possibly an airsoft gun.
In the next moment this pistol switches to another one. This is possibly an airsoft gun (note two screw holes on the side) based on Smith & Wesson 4505.
Plainclothes Bangkok police officers are seen with unidentified pistols during the shootout in the railroad depot.
In one scene Fitch McQuaid (Vincent Riotta) is armed with an unidentified pistol. Such pistols are also seen in hands of several Bangkok police officer. It is supposedly an airsoft verion of M1911 (note the screw holes in the frame and slide and the hammer which is molded into the back of the gun).
One more pistol is used by Bangkok police. It looks like some SIG Sauer version.
The sniper aims at Mongkol (Pongpat Wachirabunjong) with a bolt action rifle with sniper scope.
Type 56 Carbine
Several of Abu Karaf fighters are armed with Type 56 Carbines with removed bayonets.
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch HK53
Several of the kidnappers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK53 carbines. Later HK53 are used by Abu Karaf fighters and plainclothes Bangkok police officers. Sunti (Byron Mann) carries HK53 in the final scene.
Heckler & Koch HK33
Thailand soldiers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK33 assault rifles with 40 rounds magazines. HK33 is a standard infantry rifle of Royal Thai Army.
Norinco Type 56 assault rifles of several variants are used by various characters.
M16A1
In the final scene General Jantapan's soldiers and government forces are armed with M16A1 rifles. Some of them are equipped with M16A2 style handguards.
M16A2
During the final scene, two of General Jantapan's soldiers and later one of the government soldiers are armed with M16A2 rifles.
Colt Model 733
One of Abu Karaf fighters is seen with short version of M16 that looks like a Colt Model 733.
Unknown Rifles
A Abu Karaf fighter at the right holds a weapon that looks like a strange version of Heckler & Koch assault rifle fitted with M16-style handle.
In the same scene Mongkol's bodyguard is seen with another crossbreed assault rifle. The reciver and magazine seem to indicate that it's some sort of SIG. But this weapon can be simply another airsoft gun.
Machine Guns
M60
In the final scene General Jantapan's soldiers fire M60 machine gun mounted on Humvee.
