The '''DRD Tactical Paratus''' is a take down semi-automatic rifle originally developed for the Clandestine Break-Down Rifle (CSR) request made by the Joint & Special Operations Program (JSOP). The original 12" and 16" barrel models were designed to be taken down and clandestinely transported in small cases or backpacks and assembled in less than a minute. More recently other variants have been released with longer rail systems and barrels which are not as concealable, but still maintain the same take down ability. Originally the rifle was produced with a tan "NiBore" finish on the receiver but recent models are available with a more conventional black anodised finish.
