Smith & Wesson Model 64

It appears that Det. Leo Crasky (John Spencer) is using a Smith & Wesson Model 64 with a three inch barrel in the climactic shootout with Sheriff Heflin (Sylvester Stallone). This would be accurate since the Model 64 with the 3" barrel was authorized as a carry weapon in the New York City Police Department for a couple years in the eighties. Officers who were employed before the NYPD switched over to semi-auto handguns in 1993 were allowed to retain their revolvers. Leo Crasky is definitely old enough to have been with the NYPD for twenty plus years.
