Shaft is a 2000 action film starring Samuel L. Jackson as the title character, who is an NYPD detective that happens to be the nephew of John Shaft (Richard Roundtree) of the original 1971 film. The film was directed by John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious) and co-stars Vanessa Williams, Jeffrey Wright, and Christian Bale.
The following weapons were used in the film Shaft:
Glock 17
Several NYPD detectives are seen carrying the Glock 17 as their sidearms including Det. Roselli (Dan Hedaya) and Det. Groves (Ruben Santiago-Hudson).
Glock 19
Detective John Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson) carries a Glock 19 as his onduty handgun.
Glock 26
Det. Carmen Vasquez (Vanessa L. Williams) carries the Glock 26 as her sidearm.
Kahr K9
When he is relieved of his sidearm, Shaft switches to his backup gun, a stainless steel Kahr K9 for the rest of the film. The Kahr K9's use in the film is confirmed by the Kahr website [1].
Desert Eagle
Big Man Leon (Stu Riley) pulls a chrome Desert Eagle to scare away one of Peoples' thugs.
Uzi
When Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) and his thugs go to the apartment to take out Shaft and Diane Palmeri, some of them are seen carrying full-size Uzis.
Micro Uzi
Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) is seen with a suppressed Micro Uzi when he and his thugs go to Shaft's apartment.
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 shotgun is used by several NYPD officers including Shaft and Det. Jimmy Groves (Ruben Santiago-Hudson).
Nickel M1911A1
One of Peoples' thugs holds a nickel M1911A1 during the standoff.
Browning Hi-Power (Nickel)
A nickel Browning Hi-Power is seen in the hands of the suspect Shaft chases down in the opening raid.
Beretta 92FS Centurion
One of Peoples' thugs is seen holding a Beretta 92FS Centurion during a standoff involving Groves and Roselli (Dan Hedaya). Groves is also seen using the Beretta.
Non-Gun
A pocket pistol Non Gun is pulled on Walter Wade, Jr. (Christian Bale) before the trial. It's a non-descript pocket pistol flashpaper gun. It is used to imitate a variety of pocket pistols, although it shares no real similarities to any.
