Never So Few is a 1959 World War II drama directed by John Sturges and based on the novel by Tom T. Chamales. The film starred Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson and Gina Lollobrigida.

Colt M1911A1
US officers and NCOs in the film carry the M1911A1 pistol.
Luger P08
The Japanese officer carries a Luger P08 pistol. Most likely standing in for the Nambu Type 14.
Submachine Guns
Sten Gun
Burmese soldiers are seen armed with British Sten submachine guns.
M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson Submachine Gun is the preferring weapons of the US troops in the film. Bill Ringa (Steve McQueen) carries one with the stock removed.
MP40
The Japanese soldiers is seen in the movie with a MP40 submachine guns, which is not correct.
Rifles
M1 Carbine
The Burmese soldiers were also armed with M1 Carbines.
M1903A3 Springfield
In the film you can see many soldiers carrying M1903A3 Springfield rifles.

Vickers Mark I Machine Gun
Japanese machine gunners fire a Vickers Mark I Machine Gun.

Japanese soldiers are equipped with a Nambu Type 99 Light Machine Guns.
