Posse is the 1993 Western directed by and starring Mario Van Peebles as Jesse Lee, who along with fellow "Buffalo soldiers" form a posse in order to defend a town whose citizens are freed slaves. Not to be confused with the 1975 Kirk Douglas film.
The following firearms can be seen in the 1993 film Posse:
Single Action Army
Cavalry Model (7.5" barrel)
Jesse Lee (Mario Van Peebles)) uses the 7.5"-barreled Single Action Army Cavalry revolver when confronted by Col. Graham and his men. Sheriff Bates (Richard Jordan) also carries the SAA Cavalry.
Artillery Model (5.5" barrel)
The Single Action Army Artillery Model is used by several characters.
Remington Model 1875
The main handguns used by Jessie Lee throughout the rest of the film are Remington 1875 revolvers, which he carries in dual holsters.
Colt Model 1878 Shotgun
The Colt Model 1878 is used by one of Graham's men, who carries two.
Gatling Gun
The Gatling Gun is first seen used in the film during the Spanish-American War. Graham's men then use it during the final battle.
Winchester 1873
The Winchester Model 1873 rifle is used by several of the citizens of Freemanville.
Winchester Model 1892
Several US Army troops are armed with Winchester Model 1892 rifles during the Spanish-American War.
Winchester Model 1887
A Winchester Model 1887 10-gauge lever shotgun is used by Angel (Tone Loc).
Winchester Model 1897
Other US Army troops are armed with Winchester Model 1897 shotguns.
