Revision as of 23:07, 2 December 2012
Kings was a 2009 US television drama that aired for 13 episodes on NBC. The series was loosely based on the Biblical story of King David, but the setting moved to a country similar to the modern day United States. The cast included Ian McShane, Christopher Egan, Susanna Thompson, Sebastian Stan, and Eamonn Walker.
The following weapons were used in the television series Kings:
Rifles
Smith & Wesson M&P-15 (King Arms Replica)
The Smith & Wesson M&P-15 appears to be the rifle carried by soldiers fighting for the Kingdom of Gilboa including David Shepherd (Christopher Egan). Since these rifles are not seen firing, it's likely that the firearms are King Arms S&W MP15 airsoft replicas.
JP-15
The JP-15 appears to be the standard weapon of the Gilboan palace guards.
AKMS
Soldiers fighting for the Kingdom of Gath are armed with an AKMS-type rifle. The rifle appears to be fitted with rails at the top as well as a tactical handguard. These also are most likely replicas.
Blaser R93 Sniper Rifle
In "Prosperity" (S1E03), a Gilboa military sniper is armed with a suppressed Blaser R93 LRS2 when dispatched by General Abner (Wes Studi) to assassinate David Shepherd. The integral non-picatinny scope mount gives it away as an LRS2 as opposed to the R93 Tactical2.
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
David Shepherd is seen carrying a Beretta 92FS when conducting a rescue mission in "Goliath, Part 1" (S1E01).
Glock 17
In "New King, Part 1" (S1E12), a Glock 17 is used in an assassination attempt.
IMI Jericho 941 R (stainless)
The stainless Jericho 941 R is pulled by General Mallick (Miguel Ferrer) during a confrontation with David Shepherd in "Prosperity" (S1E03).
Safari Arms Matchmaster
In "The Sabbath Queen" (S1E08), King Silas Benjamin (Ian McShane) is seen holding a custom Safari Arms Matchmaster 1911 clone. This is the same pistol used by Angelina Jolie in the film Wanted.
Other
M240B Machine Gun
The "Goliath"-class tanks of Gath appear to have the M240B mounted on top of the turret.
M136 AT4
In "Goliath, Part 1" (S1E01), David is seen using a fictionalized version of the M136 AT4. This version is seen to be able to be reloaded instead of being a one-shot only weapon.
