The following weapons are seen in 'Midsomer Murders:
Revolvers
Webley .38 Mk IV
Webley .38 Mk IV is a weapon of several murders in Ring Out Your Dead. The bullet from this revolver was identified as "Enfield .38", but the shape of the front sight allows to identify the gun as Webley. The story tells that there were two such revolvers but supposedly only one prop is used in the movie.
In Four Funerals and a Wedding Tom Barnaby (John Nettles), who is a guest of honor on the fair in Broughton, fires a blank-firing revolver to start the race. This revolver looks like a converted Webley .38 Mk IV with 4" barrel though it differs in several details including the shape of trigger guard.
Webley .455 Mk VI
Webley .455 Mk VI is seen in Shot at Dawn both in the flashback scene that takes place during the WW1 and in modern time. The revolver was carried by Lt. Duggie Hammond (Josh Stanley) in 1916, then it was preserved in Hammond's family museum and used as the weapon of murder in modern day. The police expert correctly identyfied it as "a .455 service revolver produced about 1916".
Bruni Olympic 6
A Bruni Olympic 6 blank-firing starting revolver is fired to start Midsomer Regatta in Dead in the Water.
Gasser M1870/74 Montenegrin
A Gasser M1870/74 Montenegrin revolver is seen in Frances Le Bon's (Gwen Taylor) collection of old handguns in Ring Out Your Dead.
Remington 1858 New Army
A Remington 1858 New Army revolver is seen in Frances Le Bon's (Gwen Taylor) collection of old handguns in Ring Out Your Dead.
Unidentified revolver 1
A very old-fashioned revolver is seen in Frances Le Bon's (Gwen Taylor) collection of old handguns in Ring Out Your Dead. It looks like a so-called "transitional" revolver of mid XIX century (like Butterfield or Westley Richard revolvers).
Unidentified revolver 2
A long-barreled old-fashioned revolver is seen in Frances Le Bon's (Gwen Taylor) collection of old handguns in Ring Out Your Dead.
Pistols
Bruni 1911
A Bruni 1911 8mm blank firing replica of the M1911A1 is carried (but never used) by Sean O'Connell (Sean McGinley) is Who Killed Cock Robin?.
Beretta 92SB
Beretta 92SB is used by Tony Carter (Matthew Marsh) during the bank robbery in Painted in Blood. Its round trigger guard and the shape of the front sight match 92SB model but due to strict UK firearms law this pistol is supposed to be a blank firing version.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power that was the weapon of 18-years-old murder is found in the chimney in the abandoned house in The House in the Woods.
Unidentified sporting pistol
Frances Le Bon (Gwen Taylor) owns two unidentified pistols with target barrel compensator in Ring Out Your Dead. She calls them "sporting pistols, not living weapons", and then "gas replicas". These pistols are supposedly airsoft copies of SIG-Sauer P226 X-Six.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Side by Side Shotgun
Double barreled side by side shotguns are seen in many episodes. They are used as weapons of murder or for hunt. In Ghosts of Christmas Past the shotgun is identified as 12 gauge while in other episodes the caliber is not mentioned.
Double Barreled Over and Under Shotgun
A double barreled over and under shotgun is seen in hands of several hunters in Country Matters.
Rifles
Remington Model 12
A pump action .22 rifle is used by a trio of yound hoodlums during their night hunt in The Green Man. Later this weapon is used to kill two of them. Due to the shape of the pump and the large screw on the receiver it can be identified as a Remington Model 12.
Steyr Mannlicher .22-250 rifle
A smallbore bolt action rifle is seen in Vixen’s Run. The old gamekeeper Amos Brown (Leslie Schofield) calls the rifle "Mannlicher .22-250". It is supposed to be a Steyr Mannlicher Model L or Steyr SSG 69 PII.
Unidentified bolt action sniper rifles
Several bolt action sniper rifles are used during the shooting competition in the Broughton village in Four Funerals and a Wedding. The rifles are supposedly of various models. One of these rifles is later used as a weapon of murder.
Martini-Henry rifle
Two rifles are seen on the wall of the pub in Destroying angel and Who Killed Cock Robin?: a Martini-Henry and a Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
Two rifles are seen on the wall of the pub in Destroying angel and Who Killed Cock Robin?: a Martini-Henry and a Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*. Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* are also seen in Shot at Dawn, both in flashback scene that takes place in 1916 and in modern time when they are carried by the members of the club of historical reenactment.
Enfield L85
Enfield L85 assault rifles are seen in the depot of the Territorial Army unit in A Tale of Two Hamlets. They are supposed to be training mockups, not real rifles.
Machine Guns
Vickers Mk1
A Vickers Mk1 machine gun is used as a weapon of murder in Shot at Dawn.
Other weapons
Flintlock pistol
A flintlock pistol is seen on the wall of the pub in Dead Man's Eleven. It is also seen in Second Sight where the same decoration is used for another pub.
Blunderbuss
Munro Hilliard (John Nettleton) carries a flintlock blunderbuss in one scene in Orchis Fatalis.
Pepperbox revolver
