Killing Them Softly is the film adaptation of Geroge V. Higgins' 1974 novel Cogan's Trade. Andrew Dominik both wrote the screenplay and directed the film. Brad Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan.

Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Cogan (Brad Pitt) can be seen wielding a Mossberg 500 Cruiser in the films theatrical trailer, production stills, and on the theatrical release poster.
