In Day 3 of 24, Agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is asked to recover a deadly virus that's been threatened to be released in several cities throughout the country as he battles a drug addiction he picked up while on an undercover assignment.
The following weapons were used in Season 3 of 24:
TRIVIA: There were only two H&K USP Compacts used by Kiefer Sutherland through the entire run of the series. This was because Kiefer is a method actor and did not like to change props. He only wore 3 real kevlar bullet proof vests through out all 8 seasons. (IMFDB thanks The Golden Closet for providing the documentation on this gun.)
CTU Agent Chase Edmunds (James Badge Dale) carries the Smith & Wesson 4006 as his main sidearm throughout the season. It is sometimes fitted with a suppressor.
In "10:00am-11:00am" (S3E22), Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) holds a Beretta 92FS Inox during the hostage exchange between Saunders' daughter and Michelle.
The Beretta 92FS is seen used by LAPD officers, Jack Bauer in Mexico and when confronting Nina in CTU. Ramon Salazar, and many of the Salazar henchmen also uses it. An assailant also uses one to wound Tony when he's in the shopping mall.
In "3:00pm-4:00pm" (S3E04), Hector Salazar is seen helping his young brother-in-law fire an Colt MK IV Series 80 pistol with a custom engraved slide and pearl handles. Hector's girlfriend Claudia Hernandez (Vanessa Ferlito) is later seen holding the pistol.
In "4:00am-5:00am" (S3E16), CTU Agent Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth) is seen using a Glock 19 in the Chandler Plaza Hotel. A Salazar henchman is also seen with one until Chase takes it away during a confrontation in Mexico. Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) uses one after she escapes inside CTU.
A SIG Pro SP 2009 is used to fire on CTU personnel during Saunders' capture. A SIG Pro is also held on Michelle during a hostage exchange in "10:00am-11:00am" (S3E22).
The Smith & Wesson SW99 is seen used by Jack, CTU Agent Tom Baker (Daniel Dae Kim), as well as Salazar henchmen. The pistol, distinguishable by the curved trigger guard, is the cheaper American-made copy of the Walther P99.
In "8:00pm-9:00pm" (S3E08), Ramon Salazar hands what appears to be a Walther PPK to Jack, who then is forced to put it to the head of Chase. Upon closer inspection, the pistol appears to be Walther copy, most likely an Erma Excam RX22 (the barrel appears to be .22) but it could also be the Iver Johnson copy as well. In "4:00am-5:00am" (S3E16), another Walther PPK is taken out of the Hotel Security Chief's desk by an employee attempting to escape the hotel, it appears briefly in several scenes before Michelle Dessler confronts and disarms the employee. The hammer is the give away that the pistol is a PPK and not a SIG-Sauer P232, that and the general shape of the gun is radically different. Nina also carries one when Jack kills her bodyguards.
Ted Packard (Conor O'Farrell) is taking out an Interarms imported Walther PPK/S and putting to his head in front of Anne Packard (Wendy Crewson) in "8:00pm-9:00pm" (S3E08).
In "3:00am-4:00am" (S3E15), a Walther P99 is pulled by one of Michael Amador's men in Chinatown. Also seen used by Chase during Ramon Salazar's capture in Mexico.
In "12:00pm-1:00pm" (S3E24), a Smith & Wesson Model 15 is pulled by Julia Milliken (Gina Torres) when confronting Sherry Palmer (Penny Johnson Herald).
In "5:00pm-6:00pm" (S3E05), a Smith & Wesson Model 66 is used as Jack, Ramon and a prison guard are forced to play a game of Russian roulette during the prison riot.
During a drug bust in "2:00pm - 3:00pm" (S3E02), one of the dealers opens fire on Jack and Chase with a Mossberg 500 Mariner fitted with a pistol grip.
In "12:00am-1:00am" (S3E12), a Salazar henchman is seen carrying what appears to be an Heckler & Koch SR9(T) rifle. The SR9(T) is mostly likely an HK91 converted to SR9(T) specifications.
What appears to be an M14 fitted with a scope and suppressor is used by Chase during the gunfight between Delta 3 unit and Salazar henchmen in "12:00am-1:00am" (S3E12).
The M4A1 is used by members of the CTU Tactical Team throughout Season 3 for the first time in the series. The rifle is also used by members of the Delta 3 unit.
When Jack is forced to put a gun to Chase's head in "8:00pm-9:00pm" (S3E08), one of the Salazar henchmen is seen in the background holding what appears to be a Norinco Type 56 rifle.
An M60E3 is seen fired from a helicopter during the attack on the MI6 office in "5:00am-6:00am" (S3E17).
In "10:00am-11:00am" (S3E22), an M60E3 mounted on a Huey helicopter is used to pin down Jack as he chases Saunders trying to escape.
