Smith & Wesson Model 15
Chief Brody (Roy Scheider) once again carries a Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolver as his sidearm. He is seen firing the Model 15 into what is later revealed to be a school of fish, panicking the crowd of beach tourists. In one scene, he is seen to be tipping the .38 Special rounds in cyanide in preparation for another confrontation against the shark.
