This show is currently airing. This article or section is for a series that is Ongoing, or currently on the air and thus is a continuous work in progress. |
Community is an ongoing American television comedy series that airs on NBC. It features a diverse array of characters, from all different walks of life as they attend Greendale Community College as part of the same study group. It is not a traditional sitcom, as it features many pop culture references and meta humor, sometimes devoting entire episodes to particular pop culture tropes, such as action movies, westerns, conspiracy thrillers, bottle shows, clip shows, and in one particular case, Rankin/Bass stop-motion Christmas specials. It stars Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Chevy Chase, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong.
The following guns were used in the television series Community (2009):
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Annie Edison (Alison Brie) pretends to shoot Professor Wooley/Garrity (Kevin Corrigan) with a prop Smith & Wesson Model 60 in "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" (S02E09). A drug runner is later shown holding one to Pierce's (Chevy Chase) head in a brief shot from "Paradigms of Human Memory" (S02E21). In "Remedial Chaos Theory" (S03E04), it is revealed that Annie keeps one in her purse, and in one possible timeline, it goes off when dropped, wounding Pierce in the leg.
Walther PPK
Dean Craig Pelton (Jim Rash) pretends to shoot Annie with a prop Walther PPK in "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" (S02E09).
Smith & Wesson 6904
Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) pretends to shoot the Dean with a prop Smith & Wesson 6904 after the Dean pretends to shoot Annie in "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" (S02E09).
SIG-Sauer P232
Annie pulls out a concealed prop SIG-Sauer P232 and shoots Jeff after he pretends to shoot the Dean in "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" (S02E09).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
During their homage to Pulp Fiction in "Critical Film Studies" (S02E19), Annie uses two Smith & Wesson Model 36s in her role as Yolanda.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
During their homage to Pulp Fiction in "Critical Film Studies" (S02E19), Troy Barnes (Donald Glover) uses two Smith & Wesson Model 15s in his role as Ringo.
M1911A1
During their homage to Pulp Fiction in "Critical Film Studies" (S02E19), Shirley Bennett (Yvette Nicole Brown) uses two M1911A1s in her role as Jules. Pierce Hawthorne (Chevy Chase) carries one in "Digital Estate Planning" (S03E20).
Beretta 92FS
In Pierce's scary story in "Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps" (S03E05), Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) play stereotypical gangsters armed with Beretta 92FS pistols. The Tommy Lee Jones impersonator (Jim Meskimen) in "Contemporary Impressionists" (S03E12) is armed with a Beretta 92FS as well.
Voltran Blank Firing 9mm Pistol
After Abed completely tears apart his analysis of Who's the Boss? Professor Sheffield (Stephen Tobolowsky) opens his desk drawer to reveal a Voltran blank firing 9mm pistol. It was designed to resemble a Walther PPK, but lacks a magazine release. (He opts not to kill himself and instead re-dedicates his life to What's Happening?)
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Cruiser
Office Cackowski (Craig Cackowski) pretends to shoot Professor Wooley/Garrity with a Mossberg 590 Cruiser to teach everyone a lesson about the dangers of playing with prop guns in "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" (S02E09).

A prospector (E.J. Callahan) chases after Troy and Abed with a double barreled shotgun in "Paradigms of Human Memory" (S02E21). He fires it at them off-screen.
Submachine guns
Uzi
