Many of the things taught to the students regarding the M1 Garand is good solid information. For the most part the Garand is shown being used correctly and I can only note one Hollywood style moment. The Hollywood moment would be when prior to the final battle a series of camera angles show many of the students loading their rifles simply by grasping the closed charging handle and racking it without inserting an en bloc clip. As the en bloc clips cannot be held in the rifle without chambering a round this is incorrect. Perhaps one of the more accurate moments in when Jang-Beom loads an individual round into the Garand and eases the bolt onto it instead of slamming it shut. If a round is chambered by hand and the bolt is allowed to ride freely onto it with no resistance met a slam fire is possible. | Most of the South Korean, US, and student soldiers use [[M1 Garand]] rifles.
