Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is the Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord), Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) and Kono Kalakaua (Zulu). Various other characters are seen using the firearm as well.

Beretta M1934

In "Didn't We Meet at a Murder?"(S4E22), three people, TV repairman Clem Brown (Morgan Upton), businessman Frank Wellman (Bill Edwards) and rich widow Bonnie Soames (Joanna Barnes), are blackmailed into killing a crime syndicate boss. They are each given a suppressed Beretta M1934 fitted with a clear plastic hood which traps the spent cartridges.

The M16 is prominently used by McGarrett and HPD officers in several episodes, notably when engaging a sniper in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).
