Knight Rider is the 2008 sequel television series to the original 1982 action series that starred David Hasselhoff. In this series, Justin Bruening as Michael Traceur, a former Army Special Forces soldier who discovers that he is the son of Michael Knight of the original series. When the US government recruits him for covert missions, he is given the new identity of Michael Knight as well as an updated version of KITT, the supercar driven by his father in the original series. This version of Knight Rider ran for one season on NBC.
