M16A2/A4
M16A2/A4s are seen in the hands of US soldiers in Iraq, in the footage shown.
In Episode 5 "Smart Weapons", the AH-64 Apache helicopter is armed with an M230 Chain Gun. Another M230 CHG is attached to a CROWS (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station).
An M1A1 Thompson is seen being used by a U.S soldier in a WW2 video to explain that most SMGs have enormous recoil, while in the video clips one person empties a full magazine in one burst with no appreciable recoil.
A conveniently built rifle based on the AR-15 platform, the KAC Personal Defense Weapon is available with an 8" or 10" barrel and fires a 6x35mm cartridge built for similar velocity to a 5.56mm round but able to fire from a shorter barrel. The gun has a side folding stock for easy concealment and an advanced muzzle break which heavily cuts the huge muzzle flash expected from such a short barrel. The gun's recoil is very light so staying on target is easy, even when firing full auto. The gun was shown able to easily defeat body armor which a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 could not.
This rifle features the luxury of firing both 5.56x45mm or 7.62x39mm should someone wish to covertly complete a mission without revealing there was anymore than AKs used at the place. Can be swapped about with multiple parts to fit the user. Also is built for simplicity with all parts made ambidextrous.
LWRC SABR
The LWRC SABR (Sniper Assaulter Battle Rifle), now known as the REPR (Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle) was tested by Mack in S3E06. He used two different barrels to demonstrate the gun's ability to quickly transform between a carbine and sniper rifle.
