OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies (OSS 117: Le Caire, nid d'espions) is a 2006 French retro spy spoof starring Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo, directed by Michel Hazanavicius. It reimagines the original OSS 117 series, meant to be series spy films, as spoofs of spy films of the era. This filmed is followed by a 2009 sequel, OSS 117: Lost in Rio, with Dujardin and Hazanavicius returning. Dujardin, Bejo and Hazanavicius would reunite in 2011 for The Artist.
Spoiler Alert: Important plot points may be in the subtitles!
The following weapons are used in OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies:
Walther PP
Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath / Lucien Bramard / OSS 117 (Jean Dujardin) carries a Walther PP as his sidearm. The Imam (Youssef Hamid) gets a hold of it in the end.
Beretta M1934
Jack Jefferson (Philippe Lefebvre) is armed with a Beretta M1934.
Luger P08
Colonel Von Umsprung (Michael Hofland) draws a Luger P08 during the World War II flashback. OSS 117 later picks it up. Moeller (Richard Sammel) has one in Cairo.
Colt Police Positive
Raymond Pelletier (François Damiens) tries to kill OSS 117 with a pair of Colt Police Positives.
Unknown Revolver
The Princess (Aure Atika) uses an unknown revolver in the end. There's not enough detail to see what kind it is.
