Yes, the barrel is too thick! More as all model of S + W and it has only a little below the barrel. It definitely looks bigger than a Model 36. I'm going with the above poster on a Model 19 snub BeardedHoplite 21:09, 5 April 2012 (CDT)
I'm pretty sure it's a Model 15 snub(square butt,unshrouded ejector rod).
