FN P90
:Just put one on. If they disagree, they'll take it off. --Funkychinaman 02:17, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

I lol'd. --Masterius 03:33, 20 March 2012 (CDT)
The weapon on the cover of the DVD case is a recolored FN P90.

As I recall, the pistol was also a cap gun, probably a Beretta replica. Romero says they picked the pistol and the Dakota up from the local Toys R Us. Still, given they were actually digitised from photographs of replica weapons, I think that's just enough reason to keep the page to point out the weapons themselves were fakes. Though I think that rocket launcher can go, since "stunted little RPG-7 crackbaby" isn't going to make anyone think it's a real gun. Plasma gun is interesting, I wasn't aware they had a physical prop for that one. Evil Tim 04:27, 28 March 2012 (CDT)

:A prop of what though. I can't tell what that is supposed to be. --Funkychinaman 08:33, 28 March 2012 (CDT)
::Found it; it's part of a dart-shooting toy M60 held backwards and cut off in front of the handguard. Link. Evil Tim 09:08, 28 March 2012 (CDT)

Really?? --AdAstra2009 09:21, 28 March 2012 (CDT)

I just looked at the page history on the page. This page started as the page for the film (and is probably one of the oldest on the site.) The creator of the current page didn't use the move tool, instead going with the ham-fisted cut and paste onto a new page approach. All of the links for the film are now leading to the disambiguation page. --Funkychinaman 09:50, 28 March 2012 (CDT)

:Yeah, I saw that too. I suggest destroying this page and moving back the film to "Doom", (Then the disambiguation page can go also.) and the links will be fixed.
Reaper's Pistol
:Maybe it will be wise to create a "Doom Video Game Series" page, (like the Devil May Cry Series) and combine every Doom game there. (IIRC, there is a double barrel shotgun in Resurrection of Evil.) Of course without the chainsaw and BFG... --bozitojugg3rn4ut 10:45, 28 March 2012 (CDT)

::I don't think it's worth it for just one gun that appeared in an add-on pack. The chainsaw I'll move to a trivia heading when I rework the page, since we do know the precise model of chainsaw used. Evil Tim 01:51, 29 March 2012 (CDT)
I was just watching Doom literally 5 minutes ago and Reaper's pistol looks more like a Glock to me. Look at it when he hands it to Sam; It has the distinctively shaped Slide, as well as the rail on the bottom. 20:02 - 7/24/2010 - GamerfreakB7

I'm watching this movie right now, and Sarge's weapon looks to be an M4, not a G36, by the shape of the butt stock and the front sight.
:It's just a G36 in a different shell so it looks like another gun. - Gunmaster45

I've seen the movie just 1-2 days ago,and i get a real look on Sarge's rifle. It's NOT the G36,it's the M4/A1 Carbine.Look closely at the rear half of the gun,you should be able to see M16/M4 charging handle, and there are a few instances where i get good close look(but NOT that close) on the rear half of the gun for a good 5 secs, and the distinctive AR-15 charging handle was clearly visible.Plus the buttstock seemed like the M4 Carbine stock.

It is a G36, but extensively modified with AR15 style parts, look at the picture below. I've got the special edition and the majority of the weapons used for the Prop guns were primarily G36 style weapons, all modified differently to unique style for each character. - Draco122

Anyone can explain the point of huge ass guns if they hold much less ammo than a machine gun and deal about the same damage I see no point

It appears to be some sort of Automatic Grenade Launcher, judging by the strange grenade's in the box magazine as I can't see any other magazines inserted into the weapon. - Draco122

Mac's (Yao Chin)  weapon is also a modified Heckler & Koch G36 with an Underslung Grenade Launcher, the main body and launcher fabricated from resin and aluminium.

I don't think it's a GLM,it's more like a slug-gun to me.

BFG
BFG stands of course for "Big Fragging Gun" according to the Doom II Manual; and "Big Fucking Gun" according to the Doom I design specs.

Correct me if I am wrong but the BFG fires some kind of beams, right? I thought only weapons firing bullets/rockets/grenades are allowed on this site... --bozitojugg3rn4ut 12:49, 30 June 2011 (CDT)

92FS
I just watched the movie, and there was no 92FS. Duke was using an USP, like the other soldiers. Until someone can upload an image to verify the Beretta, it will be removed. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 12:11, 9 September 2011 (CDT)
