Max Payne 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game of the Max Payne franchise. The game will be set in Sao Paolo, Brazil and will take place about ten years after the events of Max Payne 2. Possible release date: March 2012.
The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming video game Max Payne 3:
Handguns
IMI/Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX makes a return in Max Payne 3, as it appears in the Design and Technology Series trailer. It has also appeared in publicly released media.
Taurus PT92 AF
The Taurus PT92 AF is a new weapon introduced in the game. It appears that the Beretta 92FS will be dropped for the favor of the PT92 AFS which is understandable, since most of the game will take place in Brazil.
Glock 18C
Glock 18C's can be seen wielded akimbo by Max in the Edge magazine and on the official website.
M1911
Max Payne can be seen wielding an M1911 in the Design and Technology Series trailer. Several criminals are also seen armed with this handgun.
Taurus Model 608
Max Payne is seen armed with a Taurus Model 608 revolver in screenshots and the Weapons Trailer, although in-game it's referred to as the 608 "Bull". The "Bull" designation would suggest this is supposed to be the Taurus Raging Bull, but it's actually based on the model 608 as the in-game weapon is chambered for .357 and has an eight-shot capacity.
Smith and Wesson model 10
Max Payne can be seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 10 heavy barrel in some screenshots.
Submachine Guns
Ingram MAC-11
Ingram MAC-11's are seen dual wielded and along with a pistol that appears to be the PT92 AFS.
IMI Mini Uzi
An IMI Mini Uzi can be seen dual-wielded with a suppressed Taurus PT92 AFS in one of the magazine pictures. According to Rockstar's site, it is called the "Micro 9mm" in-game.
Beretta M12
Max can be seen dual-wielding M12s in a screenshot. In-game name is "M972"
HK94
Has the shape of a MP5 but there is no paddle release, possibly making this an HK94, similar to that seen in Max Payne 2
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Cruiser
The Mossberg 590 Cruiser appears in the game. It is seen with a pistol grip, wooden furniture and an extended magazine tube.
Benelli M4
Full size, seen with some sort of rail top.
Rifles
AK-47
Two Brazilian gangsters are seen armed with AK-47s in Game Informer magazine's preview section of Max Payne 3.
IMBEL MD-97 LC
Max is seen carrying a IMBEL MD-97 LC in one of the Edge pictures. In the Design and Technology Series trailer, several criminals are seen armed with the rifle.
IMBEL FAL 7.62mm
A 7.62mm FN FAL, most likely intended to be the Imbel built version, can be seen in the Design and Technology Series trailer. The straight, 7.62mm 20 round magazine and longer barrel distinguishes it from the IMBEL MD-97 LC.
Ruger Mini-30
Called by the proper "Mini-30" in-game, sans the "Ruger" brand.
FX-05 Xiuhcoatl
A Special Forces soldier can be seen holding an FX-05 in the Design and Technology Series trailer, the main assault rifle of the Mexican army. The distinctive dual rows of gas vents along the barrel mark it out, however there appear to be an incorrect number of them. Called "G6 Commando" in-game.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
Max is seen with a Barrett M107 sniper rifle in the May issue of Edge gaming magazine.
