Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appear in the video game Enter the Matrix:
Cobray M11/9
The Cobray M11/9 appears in the game being used by both rebels and SWAT officers in the Sewer levels.
Cobray Street Sweeper
The Cobray Street Sweeper appears in some levels, such as the Sewer.
Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
The Mossberg 590 compact cruiser is another shotgun that appears in the game, most notably seen sitting on a table in a cutscene during the Sewer level where Ghost or Niobe (depending on who the player chooses) is loading up to aid other rebels being pursued by SWAT.
SIG-Sauer P229 Sport
The SIG-Sauer P229 Sport appears as Ghost's primary handgun. It's always dual-wielded.
Beretta 9000S
The Beretta 9000S appears as Niobe's primary handgun in the game.
Desert Eagle
The Desert Eagle appears in the game as the primary weapon used by the Agents. It can only be obtained after killing agent. Called the ".50AE pistol" and holds 8 rounds instead of 7 rounds. The .44 magnum version holds 8 rounds.
Glock 18C
A fully automatic Glock 18 can be found in a few missions. As with other pistols in the game, it too can be dual-wielded.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
The Heckler & Koch MP5A2 appears in the game as a weapon frequently used by the SWAT officers. Ghost also employs one of these weapons when riding shotgun in the car chase levels.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The Heckler & Koch MP5K appears only in the Xbox version of the game (jokingly referred to as the "MP5X"). It can be found in the Sewer and Power Plant levels.
Barrett M82A1 Sniper Rifle
Incorrectly called the "M95", the Barrett M82 is used by SWAT snipers. It holds an incorrect 18 rounds per magazine instead of the 10 rounds in the real weapon. The Barrett M95 is in fact the bolt action bullpup version of the Barrett M82.
Heckler & Koch UMP
The Heckler & Koch UMP is a commonly used weapon in the Merovingian's mansion and at the power plant. It seems to be equipped with an unusable C-More red dot sight like what the Twins used in The Matrix Reloaded. Interestingly enough, the Twins also pursue Niobe and Ghost as they're escaping the Merovingian's mansion, one of them firing on the two with a UMP just as seen in the aforementioned film.
Springfield Armory M1911A1
The Springfield Armory M1911A1 appears in the Merovingian's mansion.
M16 Rifle
The M16 rifle appears in the game being used by SWAT, though is rarely seen. It appears to be a somewhat anachronistic Vietnam-era model, similar to those used in the famous lobby shootout scene of the first film.
Heckler & Koch MG36
The Heckler & Koch MG36 appears in the game being used by SWAT, though is rarely seen. It uses a Beta-C dual drum magazine, yet only contains 60 rounds.
SIG SG 552
The SIG SG 552 appears in the game being used by SWAT, though rarely seen. It holds an incorrect 60-round magazine.
Colt Mustang
The Colt Mustang appears as the main sidearm used by security guards in the Post Office. Referred to as ".380 Pistol".
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS appears as a common pistol on most levels, used by police officers.
Browning Hi Power
A Satin Nickel Browning Hi Power, presumably the same one used by Switch in the first Matrix film is seen being wielded by Cain as they ambush Niobe, Ghost, and the Keymaker in the Mantainance Paassage.
Heckler & Koch HK33
The Heckler & Koch HK33 appears in the game fitted with a scope and bipod, used by SWAT snipers. It uses an incorrect 18-round magazine, as opposed to 25 rounds in the real weapon.
Milkor MGL
The Milkor MGL can be found on a rooftop during the Chinatown level.
Power Plant Methane Gun
In the power plant your character picks up what he calls "some sort of grenade launcher". Sparks says it is a "cholobromo methane gun used to get to fires when a fire extinguisher can't get to it". It fires a pressurized C02 cartridge that robs the fire of oxygen. A little side effect is it causes human lungs to fill up with water, drowning them. Be warned that if it is fired to close to an object in front of it you will fall victim to it as well. The game calls it a "GP-25 Launcher". It has a pistol grip and a carrying handle.
This gun is most likely a reference to gas guns firing Bromochlorodifluoromethane or halon 1211 hence chlorobromo and methane halon 1211 has been outlawed since January 1, 1994 because of it being a ozone depleting substance this is probably just a 37mm gas launcher.
(I used to have this game and this was the ultimate weapon against people.)
M240B Machine Gun
The M240B machine gun can be seen in the hands of one of Soren's men in the Airport level. It can only be obtained with a cheat code. It holds 120 rounds and is equipped with an unusable bipod.
Flintlock Pistol
While in the Merovingian's mansion, the player will occasionally see antique armor and weapons on display, including at least one flintlock pistol. These weapons cannot be used, though the display cases containing them can be destroyed.
M7 CS Gas Grenade
In one part of the post office level, police officers throw several M7 CS gas grenades into the room Niobe is in, trying to flush her out, though she escapes by performing a long jump over a police-filled hallway.
M67 Hand Grenade
In some levels the player can use M67 hand grenades. These weapons are incorrectly shown with a blinking red light on them moments before detonating.
M84 Stun Grenade
In some levels (such as the airport), SWAT and the player can utilize M84 stun grenades to disorient each other.
