Revision as of 02:19, 9 March 2012
The following weapons were used in the film Code of Silence:
Revolvers
Dan Wesson Model 15
The Dan Wesson Model 15 is the main sidearm carried by Chicago Det. Eddie Cusack (Chuck Norris).
Dan Wesson Model 715
During the warehouse shootout, Cusack (Chuck Norris) uses a different revolver: a 6”barrel stainless steel Dan Wesson Model 715.
Colt Detective Special
In the bar robbery scene, we see that several off-duty officers carry Detective Special revolvers.
Colt Python
A 4” barrel Colt Python is briefly seen.
Astra 357?
In the bar robbery scene, we see that Dennis Farina carries a 3” barrel revolver with adjustable sights. Because of the shape of the hammer, I think that it is an Astra 357, although it is never seen well.
RG revolver
One of the hitmen carries an RG revolver during the opening shootout scene.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Cusack’s partner carries a 2” barrel, nickel plated S&W Model 10 (or a stainless model 64). A 4” barrel version several times, in the movie.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
A 4” barrel Smith & Wesson Model 15 is used in the bar robbery scene. Mike Genovese, as Tony Luna carries a 2” barrel S&W Model 15.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
Ron Henriquez, as Victor Comacho uses a 2.5” barrel S&W Model 19
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Lt. Kobas (Joseph Kosala) carries an 8” barrel Smith & Wesson Model 29 with a nickel finish as his sidearm.
Unidentified revolvers
Several revolvers both in the bar robbery scenes and in the final shootout scenes, that are difficult to identify
Pistols
Beretta Jetfire
Detective Brennan carries a Beretta Jetfire in an ankle holster. He puts it in the hand of an unarmed kid that he shot by mistake. At the end of the movie, we see that he has replaced this one with a identical pistol.
M1911A1
During the bar robbery scene, we see briefly one of the police officers brandishing a nickel-plated M1911 pistol
Shotguns
Mossberg 500AT (Pistol Grip)
A Mossberg 500AT shotgun fitted with a pistol grip and wood furniture is used by both Det. Dorato (Dennis Farina) and Det. Eddie Cusack (Chuck Norris). Cusack's Mossberg is used in the final warehouse shootout and is also fitted with a heavy choke. As the movie was filmed in Chicago around the same time, the firearm is likely the same shotgun used in the 1986 Schwarzenegger film Raw Deal.
double-barreled shotgun
One of the robbers in the bank scene carries a double-barreled shotgun
Submachine Guns
MAC-10
MAC-10's suppressed and unsuppressed are prominently used by the hitmen disguised as painters who take out several drug dealers in the opening shootout.
Uzi
An Uzi is used by a hitman disguised as a painter in the opening shootout.
Heckler & Koch HK94
One of Comacho's guards is seen on the rooftop armed with a Heckler & Koch HK94.
Rifles
M16 Rifle
One of Camacho's men is seen armed with an M16 during the final shootout.
Ruger AC-556K
A Ruger AC-556K is used by a hitman disguised as a painter in the opening shootout.
Remington 700
Other
M72 LAW
The M72 LAW Rocket Launcher is used by Chicago Det. Eddie Cusack (Chuck Norris) in the final shootout.
"Prowler"
The robotic law enforcement vehicle named the "Prowler" is armed with two machine guns and two rocket launchers. It is first seen during its introduction to the police. Later Prowler is ued in the final shootout.
