Anatoli Dmitrievich Papanov (October 31, 1922 – August 7, 1987) was a popular Soviet stage and screen actor. He started with supporting roles in comedies but later became well-known for leading roles in comedy and drama movies. Papanov was also known for voicing in the very popular animation series Nu, pogodi!. He died in 1987, aged 64, short after his last work, Kholodnoe leto pyatdesyat tretego was finished.
