The following firearms were used in the film Bottle Rocket:
A black SIG-Sauer P226 is visible inside the case when the gang tests guns to buy. Both Anthony Adams (Luke Wilson) and Bob Mapplethorpe (Robert Musgrave) use P226s during the cold storage facility robbery.
SIG-Sauer P230
A stainless SIG-Sauer P230 is visible inside the case when the gang tests guns to buy. Dignan (Owen Wilson) picks it up as well as the S&W semi-auto, but does not fire it. Anthony (Luke Wilson) does fire it during the target practice.
Smith & Wesson 6906
A Smith & Wesson 6906 is visible inside the case when the gang tests guns to buy. Dignan (Owen Wilson) picks it up as well as the SIG P230, but does not fire it.
The gun that the gang finally purchases is a .44 Magnum Colt Anaconda with a six inch barrel, using Bob's money. Dignan (Owen Wilson) keeps it as his sidearm during the robberies, becoming very fidgety when both Bob (Robert Musgrave) and Anthony (Luke Wilson) pick it up during the planning of the bookstore heist.
