After Templar (Val Kilmer) makes it into the Russian Premier's quarters he puts down his weapon. Due to a continuity error it has changed from a AKS-74U into a AKS-74.
AKS-74U
The AKS-74U is seen being carried by Russian soldiers and police in Moscow. At one point ,when infiltrating the Presidential Palace in Moscow, Templar (Val Kilmer) takes a "Krinkov" from a guard then uses it to bring down a chandelier when being pursued.
