The strange thing is, after having watched the movie, these two guns are seriously it. All four of the bad guy's henchmen use M93R's, and all five of the police snipers use the Scouts. That's the only guns in the whole movie, both of which get a good deal of screen time. Just seemed like a strange combination to me, a relatively rare silenced machine pistol and a long range bolt action rifle as the two and only two guns in an entire action movie.

Is it even possible to silence the 93R? Supposing you shaved the muzzle brake off, there's still the question of threading the barrel and finding a 9mm suppressor that can cope with 3-round bursts. Perhaps a sub-machine gun suppressor. Even if you could, would it really be that much better than a semi-auto?
