Escanaba in da Moonlight (2001)

Escanaba in da Moonlight is a 2001 low budget Indie starring Jeff Daniels. The film is a comedy regarding redneck hunters from Michigan and is a part of Daniel's ongoing commitment to entice film production to the state of Michigan. The comedy itself is hit or miss, with humor that is mostly enjoyed (and understood) by locals to the Michigan area. The film had very limited theatrical release and limited DVD release and is not very well known amongst the film going public.

Marlin 336C

The Marlin 336c in .30-30 Winchester is used by Reuben Soady (Jeff Daniels). His father Albert (Harve Presnell) also uses Reuben's rifle on occasions.

12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun

Uncle Alvin (a cameo by writer Guy Sanville) bags his first buck with a hammerless double barreled shotgun at the age of 43 while taking his tradition pre-hunt dump in a flashback. It is not explained why he had a shotgun in the outhouse.
