Chuck - Season 4: Difference between revisions
Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) continues to use the custom SIG-Sauer P229 at the beginning of Season 4. Sarah pulls the SIG in "Chuck Versus the Leftovers" (S4E10). Chuck is seen holding the custom P229 on Hugo Panzer in "Chuck Versus the Cubic Z" (S4E03). Director Jane Bentley (Robin Givens) holds a SIG-Sauer P229 Custom of her own in "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" (S4E16).
A nickel SIG-Sauer P226 is seen being pulled on Morgan in "Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror" (S4E06). The handgun is also used by Pierre Melville (Jean-Christophe Febbrari) in "Chuck Versus the Balcony" (S4E11).
Later in Season 4, Casey appears to carry a customized SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm. The pistol resembles the the Tactical Operations variant, being fitted with an Elite slide with front cocking serrations, TRUGLO Tritium Fiber Optic front sight, and extended Magwell grips with 20 round magazine. However, the pistol lacks the beavertail of the Tactical Operations pistol, has nickel accents and has had the notron finish of the slide removed from the raised portions of the cocking serrations. It was also seen in the hands of Gaez (Lou Diamond Phillips) when he threatens Carina in "Chuck Versus the Cat Squad" (S4E15). Casey fires the pistol notably in "Chuck Versus Agent X" (S4E22).
The Beretta 90Two with an extended magazine is the weapon of choice for Chuck's mother, Mary Bartowski (Linda Hamilton). In "Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror" (S4E06), she wields it in a standoff with Sarah and outside a restaurant where she meets Chuck. Casey's former teammate Mackintosh (Joel David Moore) wields this Beretta during their reunion in "Chuck Versus the Couch Lock" (S4E05).
In "Chuck Versus the Leftovers" (S4E10), Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) is given a Beretta 92FS by Casey. Morgan is then seen taping it to his back à la John McClane in Die Hard. In "Chuck Versus the Couch Lock" (S4E05), members of Casey's old team as well as Casey are seen pulling their Berettas during a mission in 1999.
Zondra (Mercedes Masohn) carries a .40 caliber Beretta 8040 Cougar F in "Chuck Versus the Cat Squad" (S4E15) and "Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger (S4E24).
Several FN 49 pistols are seen used by many operatives working for Volkoff Industries in Season 4. In "Chuck Versus the Leftovers" (S4E10), Barbara (Monet Mazur) is seen threatening Casey with her handgun. In "Chuck Versus the Gobbler" (S4E12), Sarah elaborately disarms two guards of their handguns and holds them on Alexi Volkoff. Another one is seen in "Chuck Versus the Masquerade" (S4E16).
An FN49 is used by a guard protecting Vivian Volkoff in "Chuck Versus the Family Volkoff" (S4E20).
The Glock 17 variant with the stainless slide is a frequent weapon often dual-wielded by spies in the series. In "Chuck Versus the A-Team", Captain Victoria Dunwoody (Stacy Keibler) also dual-wields stainless slide Glocks.
n Season 4's premiere "Chuck Versus the Anniversary" (S4E01), Marco (Dolph Lundgren) carries a chrome Desert Eagle as his sidearm. IMI Desert Eagle Mark I throughout "Chuck Versus the Wookie" (S1E04). Chuck gives Sarah a chrome Desert Eagle for a mission in "Chuck Versus the Anniversary" (S4E01), but she is not seen using it. Another chrome Desert Eagle fitted with a scope and a custom compensator that matches the barrel is used in "Chuck Versus Phase Three" by Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez). Although John Casey (Adam Baldwin) said it didn't have any bullets; it may have implied he only gave him blanks or none at all.
The Norinco Type 54 pistol (Chinese-made version of the Tokarev TT-33) is seen pulled by both Hortencia Goya (Tia Texada) and Commandante Juan Pablo Turrini (Alex Fernandez) in "Chuck Versus the Coup d'Etat" (S4E04).
The STI Edge 4.0 is the flamboyant personal weapon of choice for both Alexei Volkoff (Timothy Dalton) in black, and Vivian Volkoff (Lauren Cohan) in chrome. The pistol is notably seen in "Chuck Versus The Leftovers" (S4E10), "Chuck Versus the Push Mix" (S4E13), and "Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger" (S4E24).
The handgun used by Sofia Stepanova (Karolína Kurková) in "Chuck Versus the Suitcase" (S4E02) is a Taurus PT945 loaded with "smart bullets". Adelbert De Smet (Richard Chamberlain) and his henchmen are armed with the stainless Taurus PT945 in "Chuck Versus the Fear of Death".
In "Chuck Versus Phase Three" (S4E09), Casey (Adam Baldwin) can be seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5A2 with a red-dot scope as well. Later in the same episode, Sarah also uses the MP5A2.
The Heckler & Koch UMP is the main weapon carried by CIA security officers transporting prisoners throughout Season 4. Hugo Panzer (Steve Austin) is seen picking one up off the floor and using it in "Chuck Versus the Cubic Z" (S4E03). Both Sarah and Casey carry the Heckler & Koch UMP while in Somalia in "Chuck Versus the Family Volkoff" (S4E20).
The M4A1 is used by Casey, Sarah and Heather Chandler (Nicole Ritchie) in "Chuck Versus the Cubic Z" (S4E03). In some scenes, the M4A1 is a Non Gun version. Casey and other CIA strike team members carry the M4A1 fitted with EOTech sights in "Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror" (S4E06). In "Chuck Versus Phase Three" (S4E09), Casey briefly switches out an MP5A2 for the M4A1 Carbine with an Trijicon 4x ACOG scope and with a vertical fore-grip.
AKM rifles can be seen wielded by Thai mercenaries in "Chuck Versus Phase Three" (S4E09). Somali pirates also wield the rifles in "Chuck Versus the Family Volkoff" (S4E20). In "Chuck Versus the Coup d'Etat" (S4E04), Hortencia Goya (Tia Texada) wields the AKM and several of her soldiers are armed with AKMs with black furniture.
In Season 4's premiere "Chuck Versus the Anniversary" (S4E01), Casey is using an AKMSU with a KCI quad rail system.
He mentions the weapon as "the best Commie rifle ever made, the AK-47".
In "Chuck Versus the Masquerade" (S4E16), Casey is seen using a Barrett Model 98 Bravo sniper rifle to take down counter snipers who had surrounded Sarah.
In "Chuck Versus the Masquerade" (S4E16), a .308 chambered Ruger Model 77 bolt-action rifle is used by one of the snipers that try to eliminate a target.
In "Chuck Versus the Masquerade" (S4E16), a Steyr Scout sniper rifle is used by another one of the snipers that try to eliminate a target.

Casey uses what appears to be the Remington 870 Tactical model in "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" (S4E19). His Remington is fitted with a heat shield, EOTech sight, saddle shell holder, weaponlight and a Magpul stock.
In "Chuck Versus the Family Volkoff" (S4E20), M240 Machine Guns are set up as a security measure in the vault that Alexei Volkoff tries to disable by winning a game of chess.
The mockup of an M3 Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle that was identified in in "Chuck Versus the Crown Vic" (S1E11) as an "M2 84mm Rocket Launcher" is again seen in "Chuck Versus the Seduction Impossible" (S4E22), where Brigadier General Diane Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) uses the launcher. This prop appears to have been used as well in the series NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles.
A pistol is seen in silhouette during the opening credits of each episode of Chuck. This pistol appears to be an amalgamation of a Beretta and a Jericho 941.

M26 Hand Grenade
Mrs. Winterbottom creates an IED out of a block of MI6-issue PE4 (a British plastic explosive very similar to C4) and an M26 hand grenade to "scuffle the house" in "Chuck Versus Agent X." She attaches the pin to a spool of yarn and proceeds to dash out of the house with Team Bartowski.
The "Trank Gun" frequently seen used by Chuck in the series is an airsoft handgun known as the Baby Hi-Capa 3.8. The airsoft pistol is customized to fire tranquilizer darts with the standard "Green Gas" rather than airsoft pellets. It is also customized with an extended barrel due to painting over the orange tip (required by US law), with metallic silver paint. A red or green laser sometimes accompanies the gun on it's bottom accessory rack. The ammunition is varied, but most commonly used are the "10mg Darts". The darts can also be stuck manually into someone to gain the same effect. It has been referred to several times that the medication in the darts is a diluted Tetradotoxin (Anhydrotetrodotoxin) solution. There is another kind of dart that has a fast-acting small dose of Ketamine. The vents on the slide indicate that it is a Type 8. Because of Chuck's distaste for real weapons, the team begins to use the trank guns much more often beginning in Season 4, especially on kidnapping missions. The trank guns are often used on unarmed/unsuspecting persons instead of more lethal weapons.
Sarah fires a Grappling Hook Pistol to gain access into the Moroccan keep in "Chuck Versus the Seduction Impossible" (S4E14).

Armories and Gun Displays
"Castle"
"Castle", is the code name for the underground CIA/NSA substation where Sarah, Casey, Chuck, and Morgan communicate with their superiors (mainly General Diane Beckman). Castle is located underground somewhere between the former Orange-Orange and the current Buy More. It is comprised of a main area for team debriefing, a video conference room for federal debriefs comprised of a series of large computer screens, 2 prisoner wings (1 solitary, 1 bulletproof acrylic holding cells), 1 interrogation wing, a Dojo for martial arts practice, an armory with a huge selection of weapons including 3+ Casey custom SIG P229s, a shooting range, and a scientific analytical labratory, 1 wing that was used for the National Clandestine Service with maximum security holding cells, now it is used as a maximum security prisoner holding facility, and recently revealed in "Chuck Versus Agent X", a room for secret vehicle development.
In "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" (S4E19), the agents participating in the exercise at Castle are told to give up all their weapons, which results in a massive pile of handguns.
