The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

The Hills Have Eyes (2006) is a remake of the 1977 film The Hills Have Eyes. The original 1977 film was directed by Wes Craven, who would later become renowned as the creator of the Nightmare on Elm Street series of films. The 2006 Remake was directed by Alexandre Aja and starred Ted Levine, Kathleen Quinlan, Aaron Stanford, Dan Byrd, Vinessa Shaw and Emilie de Ravin as the doomed family who encounters the mutants in the hills.

The following guns were used in the movie The Hills Have Eyes

Beretta Cougar

The Beretta 8045 Cougar is seen being used throughout the movie by by Bobby Carter (Dan Byrd) Once when he is shooting at the two other mutants after killing Lynne and Ethel Carter and also to shoot Papa Jupiter (Billy Drago) when he is rushing toward him. Despite having the massive aperture of the .45 acp pistol, the blanks are not full load and the sound effects are that of a smaller caliber round, leading some to believe it was a 9mm pistol.
