Convoy is a 1978 trucker film directed by Sam Peckinpah and stars Kris Kristofferson as a renegade truck driver who butts heads with a corrupt sheriff (Ernest Borgnine). It was one of the last films made by Peckinpah before his death in 1984.
The following weapons were used in the film Convoy:
M16A1
State troopers and US National Guard are armed with the M16A1s as they open fire on the truck driven by Martin "Rubber Duck" Penwald (Kris Kristofferson).
M60 machine gun
The M60 machine gun mounted atop an M42 Duster is seen being fired by Sheriff "Dirty Lyle" Wallace (Ernest Borgnine).
Smith & Wesson Model 15
Other troopers are armed with Smith & Wesson Model 15s.
Ithaca 37
Ithaca 37s are also used by law enforcement.
