Canal (Kanal) (Polish Title: Kanał) is a 1957 World War II drama directed by Andrzej Wajda. The film tells the tragic fate of the Armia Krajowa soldiers (armed forces of the Polish underground) during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, which tries to leave Warsaw in sewer channels.
