The following guns were used in the film The Bear, known in French as L'ours:
Winchester 1866 "Yellow Boy"
Tom (Tchéky Karyo) carries a decoratively engraved Winchester 1866 "Yellow Boy" with scenes depicting a bear hunt as his rifle in the film.
Martini-Henry Mk IV
Bill (Jack Wallace) carries a Martini-Henry Mk IV as his rifle in the film. The rounds on his belt don't look at all like the normal rounds loaded into this gun, since the rounds used have a crimpled bottle neck, while the rounds on his belt are long and flat.
Single Action Army
Both Tom (Tchéky Karyo) and Bill (Jack Wallace) carry Single Action Army revolvers in the film, but they are never used.
