The following firearms can be seen in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes:
M4A1 Carbine
The majority of the San Francisco SWAT teams are seen armed with M4A1 Carbines with M68 Aimpoint red dot & ACOG scopes, Knight's Armament RAS rail systems, and foregrips. Several of them have Surefire M82 rails instead of the KAC RAS rail system.
Daewoo K3 (mocked up as an M249)
A SFPD SWAT is seen firing a Daewoo K3 mocked up to resemble an M249 SAW at the apes attacking the police blockade on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Remington 870
A Remington 870 with black furniture, Surefire weaponlight, door-breaching muzzle, a pistol grip, and a Crane stock is seen being carried by several SFPD SWATs, sometimes with or without the Surefire weaponlight.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A possible Heckler & Koch MP5A2 fitted with a Surefire 628 dedicated forend weaponlight is seen being carried by a SFPD SWAT riding in a SWAT van. Several SFPD SWATs are also seen with MP5A2s without the Surefire weaponlight.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with the newer UMP-style stock and ACOG scope is seen being used by an SFPD SWAT at a police blockade on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Glock 17
Glock 17s are used by SFPD and Highway Patrol officers during the Golden Gate Bridge attack.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk. III
The African poachers in the beginning of the film are seen with Lee-Enfield rifles.
