Error creating thumbnail: File missing Top Shot - Season 1 Cast (2010)
SPOILER ALERT: It is possible that these images will spoil the competition by indicating who survives until the final episodes.
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is used for the voting challenge in every episode.
Episode 2: "Zipline of Fire" had a focus on the Beretta 92FS, and it was featured in every challenge.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beretta 92FS 9x19mm versus the 92F below. Notice how the 92F has a more reflective grip than the 92FS.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beretta 92F 9x19mm.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beretta 92FS used in during the voting event in the first episode. Note both the slide markings, identifying it as a civilian 92 and not the military version, and the non-reflective grip identifying it as a 92FS.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Frank shooting the Beretta 92FS. Notice both how he's a lefty, and how he uses the old "stacked thumbs" grip. He also manages to keep both his eyes open. Seeing as he was trained as S.W.A.T. during the 70s and 80s, all of this makes sense.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Bill using the "overlapping thumbs" grip. Notice hammer almost dropped on the firing pin.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Mike using the "thumbs forward" grip. This is considered to be the most modern technique, achieving maximum recoil control. Note Colby Donaldson in the background who does a good job of hosting the show, without filling it with stupid statements about firearms and their usage.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing CGI animation from the second episode. Notice how it is identified as a 92F, but every 92 in the show is a 92FS. The host also introduces the firearm as the Beretta 92F.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Ben Stoeger holding the Beretta 92FS during practice. The non-reflective grip proves that this is a 92FS.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Chris shooting the Beretta 92FS during the first voting challenge for the blue team.
Beretta 92FS Inox
The Beretta 92FS Inox is shown with a suppressor in the opening credits.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beretta 92FS Inox - 9x19mm

Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beretta 92FS Inox being aimed by Mike in the opening scene.
Single Action Army
Several Single Action Army 's are seen in the opening scene. In Episode 6: "Wild, Wild West", Single Action Army revolvers are seen where they are called "Peacemaker"s.

A Tressitu TZ99, a South African produced copy of the Zastava CZ99 , is shown shooting in slow motion during the opening scene. This handgun is also used in Episode 4: "Friend or Foe?", for the elimination challenge. In the challenge it is described by Colby as "a TZ99: a South African made 9mm handgun."
Zastava CZ99, the gun on which the TZ99 is based - 9x19mm
Error creating thumbnail: File missing CGI animation of a SIG-Sauer P226 . Notice the decocker, slide release, and takedown lever, showing it is a P226..
Error creating thumbnail: File missing The TZ99 being fired in slow motion during the opening scene.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing The same shot less than a second after the first.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A closeup during Jim's introduction to the pistol. Visible in this shot is the TZ99 slide markings confirming that this is the Tressitu produced copy. The frame markings refer to the importer of the pistol, the Southern Ammunition Company based in Loris, South Carolina.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Iain shooting the TZ99 during practice.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Craig Sawyer shooting the TZ99 in slow motion. Notice the bullet in motion. This screen is from the fourth episode, while the two above are from the opening scene.

The Desert Eagle Mark VII is shown used by Andre in the opening scene.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Desert Eagle MK VII - .357 Magnum w/ brushed chrome finish.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Desert Eagle being held by Andre during the opening scene. The fact that it lacks scope rails evidences that this is not the XIX version, but the VII. Note also the fact that it's in .41/.44 magnum.

Colt Government Model HBAR
The Colt Government Model HBAR, the civilian version of the M16A2 , was used in the fourth episode, "Friend or Foe", during the team challenge. The CG animation for this weapon depicts an M16A4 however.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Colt Government Model HBAR - 5.56x45mm
Error creating thumbnail: File missing CGI Animation of the AR-15.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Close-up of the AR-15 lower receiver. Notice the two position fire selector confirming that this is the civilian variant of the rifle.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Chris shooting the AR-15 during practice. Notice how the rifle is firmly placed in his shoulder, he leans forward aggressively and how his elbow is tucked into his body making for a very stable platform for rapid fire shooting. This is probably the best stance for combat shooting.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Tara shooting the AR-15 during practice. Notice how the rifle's stock is only minimally touching her shoulder and she simply stands upright. This position would do little to tame the recoil of bigger rifles, but for the 5.56 it's fine, and Tara manages to hit almost every target with relative speed.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Blake shooting the AR-15 during practice. Even though he claims his experience with the AR-15 is "seen it on TV", he has a pretty good stance and manages to hit every target very quickly.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Jim shooting the AR-15 during practice. Notice how he doesn't even shoulder his weapon and his body is very bladed. This stance is normally used for long range competition shooting. This stance is not good for this kind of up close fast shooting, as it provides very poor recoil control. Had the targets however been 150 yards further back, this would probably be the technique you would utilize.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Brad shooting the AR-15 during the team challenge. Notice how he is slightly bladed, his left pointer finger is pointed at the target and how his elbow is tucked in as much as it is needed. This is probably the best stance for up close fast shooting in a competition environment.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Jim shooting the AR-15 again, this time during the team challenge. This time he has the stock inside his shoulder, but is holding the magazine for some reason.

Error creating thumbnail: File missing CGI animation of the Remington 700. Notice the again oversized trigger and trigger guard.

Error creating thumbnail: File missing Mike shooting the Remington 700P during practice. Notice how he chose to utilize the bipod folded on top of the sandbags.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Kelly shooting the Remington 700P during practice. Notice how Kelly utilizes the bipod instead of the sandbags. Ex-Navy SEAL Craig Sawyer spots for both Kelly and Mike during practice.
