Above the Law (1988)

Above the Law is the 1988 action movie that launched Steven Seagal's movie career. In the film, Seagal stars as Nico Toscani, a Chicago cop with a CIA past and family in the Mafia who investigates the assassination of a local priest that may be part of a government conspiracy. The film (which was also released under the title Nico) was directed by Andrew Davis, who would also direct Seagal in Under Siege.

The following weapons were used in the film Above the Law:

Colt Government

Chicago cop Nico Toscani (Steven Seagal) carries a Colt Government as his main sidearm in the film. During the shootout in the meatpacking district, his Government changes several times to a Commander (see below). In reality, Steven Seagal owns and uses in real life several 1911s.
