Revision as of 21:17, 1 November 2011
The following weapons were used in the film Pork Chop Hill:
The M1 Carbine is used by the officers in the film, including Lt. Joe Clemons (Gregory Peck), and by his radiomen, S/Sgt. Coleman (Norman Fell) and Cpl. Payne (Cliff Ketchum). All of these men use the post-WW2 30-round "Banana" Magazines.
A 7th Infantry Division soldier can be seen with an M2 Flamethrower during the battle. Oddly, a Chinese soldier uses one to burn an American outpost during the final battle.
Chinese soldiers can be seen using the PPSh-41 submachine gun during the Battle of Pork Chop Hill with both 35 round stick magazines and 71 round drum magazines.
