Work In Progress This article is still under construction. It may contain factual errors. See Talk:NCIS: The Video Game for current discussions. Content is subject to change. |
NCIS: The Video Game is a 2011 point-click detective adventure game based on the popular TV show NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The game contains 4 different cases, written by the original writers of the series. The game was released for the PC, PS3, X360 and Nintendo 3DS platforms.
The following weapons can be seen in the video game NCIS: The Video Game:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P228
Special Agent Jethro Gibbs and Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo use SIG-Sauer P228 pistols in the game, just like in the TV show.
SIG-Sauer P226R
In episode 1 "Jackpot", a SIG-Sauer P226R is found next to a dead casino guard named Melvin Farley.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Several Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers can be seen at the gun store.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
In episode 1 "Jackpot", the NCIS agents find a Smith & Wesson Model 15. They find out, that the revolver was used by the gun store owner against the robbers.
Smith & Wesson M&P .357 SIG
In "Jackpot", if the player takes a photo of the P226R, it changes into a Smith & Wesson M&P chambered in .357 SIG. From that point, the game refers to it as ".357 Pistol", and the P226R is never seen again.
FN Five-seveN
An FN Five-seveN with built-in compensator-style suppressor can be seen on a Splinter Cell: Conviction poster at a crime scene in the trailer. The final version has a poster of a Rainbow operative with a shield and unknown pistol.
Heckler & Koch USP40
A Heckler & Koch USP40 is used to murder two undercover Navy SEALs in episode 4 "Dubai". The game misidentifies it as ".45 Pistol". The USP45 has a slightly longer barrel and grip compared to the .40 S&W and 9x19mm variants.
IMI/Magnum Research Desert Eagle
Several Desert Eagles of unknown variant and caliber can be seen at the gun store.
M1911 Variants
Various M1911 variants are seen on posters at the gun store. A higher quality version of the same image can be viewed here.
Taurus Raging Bull
In episode 1 "Jackpot", an Atlantic City policeman carries a Taurus Raging Bull revolver chambered in .44 Magnum.
CZ 75B
A cutaway diagram of a CZ 75B can be seen at the gun store. The poster can be viewed here.
Nagant M1895
The Nagant M1895 is seen on a poster at the gun store. A better quality version of the poster can be found here.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A Heckler & Koch MP5A2 is seen on a poster at the U.S. Navy base in Iraq during the third case "Abuse of Power".
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The casino robbers in episode 1 "Jackpot", and the bank robbers in episode 2 "Identity Theft" are armed with H&K MP5A3 submachine guns. MP5A3's are also seen used by the U.S. Navy during episode 3 "Abuse of Power".
Heckler & Koch UMP
A Heckler & Koch UMP can be seen on the wall at the gun store. It is either the .40 S&W or .45 AUTO variant, noted by the straight magazine.
PPSh-41
Cutaway image of a Russian PPSh-41 submachine gun can be seen on the wall at the gun store. A better quality version of the poster is here.
Shotguns
Benelli M3 Super 90
A Benelli M3 Super 90 with low-cap tube can be seen on a wall next to a H&K UMP at the gun store. The model of the gun appears to be from Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.
Rifles & Assault Rifles
Colt M4A1
An M4A1 with various attachments is seen on a poster at the gun shop. The poster can be seen here.
AK-47
An AK-47 is seen on a poster promoting a rather old video game, Rainbow Six: Lockdown. This poster was seen in the trailer only. In the final version, it was replaced with a picture of an AKM. (Maybe the developers realized that a poster of a terrorist would look odd in a U.S. Navy base.)
AKM
An AKM with orange plastic magazine can be seen on various posters at the gun store. The exact same poster can be seen in Modern Warfare 2. (The poster can be viewed here.) Another AKM picture is seen at the U.S. Navy base.
Heckler & Koch SL8-4
A sound suppressed Heckler & Koch SL8-4 with white finish is seen at the gun shop.
Lee-Enfield Rifle
An unknown variant of the Lee-Enfield is seen on a poster.
Remington Model 700 XCR II
A Remington Model 700 XCR II can be seen at the gun store.
Sniper Rifles
Norinco QBU-88
The QBU-88 is seen on a magazine at the gun store.
Barrett M107
The Barrett M107 is seen on a magazine cover. The image used there is a badly photoshopped screencap from the very first trailer of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
SVD Dragunov
The SVD Dragunov is seen on a poster. A better quality version of the poster can be found on here.
Others
PKM
One loaded PKM can be seen in the gun store.
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB is seen mounted on an Abrams tanks on a blueprint.
FN M240
An FN M240C is coaxial mounted on the Abrams on the blueprint. Another M240 is pintle-mounted.
Grenade Launcher
M203A1 Grenade Launcher
The M23A1 grenade launcher is seen on the M4 Carbine poster in the lower right corner.
