Attack Force Z was a 1982 Australian-produced WWII film that starred then unknown actors Mel Gibson and Sam Neill along with John Phillip Law, Chris Haywood and John Waters (the Australian actor, not the director) as members of a commando team sent to rescue the survivors of a plane crash on a Japanese-occupied island in the Pacific.
The following weapons were used in the film Attack Force Z:'
Suppressed M3A1 submachine gun
Used by the Z Force commandos, M3A1's were never used by Z Special Unit during WWII but they did use a suppressed AUSten Mk2 submachine gun.
Smith & Wesson Victory Model Revolver
Carried by all the Z Force commandos and used by Captain Kelly (Gibson) until he hands it to Lin, the local resistance leader.
Arisaka rifles
Used by the Japanese forces.
Pump-action shotgun
John Phillip Law produces a take-down pump shotgun, possibly a Winchester mod 12 in olive parkerizing, he also gives it to the guerrilla leader
