Warning: Spoilers below!!
M1 Carbine
When Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson) travels through the astral dimension form of his old house to find his son, one of the spirits that haunts Josh's current house, "Doll Girl #1", is seen wielding an M1 Carbine as Josh tries to question her about the whereabouts of his son. Doll Girl #1 then reappears in the living room, grinning sinisterly as she presumably killed members of her family. This implies how members of her family became spirits in The Futher. During this scene, the gun is inaccurately portrayed as bolt-action whereas the real M1 Carbine is semi-automatic as indicated by the sound of the bolt being pulled.
