After violence is unleashed in the opening sequence, the story settles on a former L.A. drug dealer Casey Wells (Thomas Jane), now a Houston architect living with his attractive wife Christine (Paula Marshall). When his ex-partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart) arrives out of the blue on a Thursday, asking for a place to stay for a few days, Casey invites him in but later gets curious about Nick's briefcase. After he opens it to find a huge helping of heroin, panic sets in, and he flushes it all away -- setting the stage for a variety of hoods and hitmen to turn up on Casey's suburban doorstep.
The following weapons were used in the film Thursday:
The M1911A1 is used by several characters throughout the movie, including Casey's ex-partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart), who carries a 1911 Government with a screw-on suppressor and custom grips. Rasta hit-man Ice (Glenn Plummer) holds Casey hostage with a chrome-plated 1911 Government pistol. In the flashbacks concerning Casey Wells' (Thomas Jane) previous life, he's seen firing two chrome-plated and pearl-gripped 1911 Government series pistols akimbo. Casey also gets a hold of Ice's 1911, but he never uses it.
During the flashback drug deal, a chrome-plated Desert Eagle Mark XIX can be seen on Ballpean's coffee table. Casey Wells (Thomas Jane) picks it up after the fire fight.
Unknown Handguns
A couple of unknown handguns (semi-automatics) are seen during the flashback drug deal. They are seen very briefly, so they are harder to identify.
Also, the police officer in the beginning carries an unidentified service sidearm in a hip holster.
Sub machine guns
IMI UZI
Nick (Aaron Eckhart) uses a suppressed Micro Uzi in the flashback drug deal.
A full sized IMI Uzi can also be seen used by a crooked cop at the end of the movie.
HK94 - Chopped and Converted
Several crooked cops use these weapons at the film's end, it can be seen that they are Chopped & Converted Heckler & Koch HK94's due to their lack of a paddle release.
Unknown SMG
A Jamaican thug is briefly seen, walking across the screen, with an unknown SMG.
Shotguns
Sawed-Off Remington 870
A Jamaican gangster is seen holding a Remington 870 shotgun near the end.
Winchester Model 1300
After the flashback drug deal shootout, a pregnant woman busts into the room with a Winchester Model 1300. She kills Jimmy, but is then in turn gunned down by Nick and Casey.
Unknown Shotgun
A Jamaican gangster is seen with an unknown shotgun when they show up at Casey's house.
