The Royal Marines Commando is a World War II first-person shooter video game developed and published by City Interactive. It was released in 2008 and is available only for the PC.
The following weapons appear in the game The Royal Marines Commando:
United Kingdom
Webley Mk IV
The Webley Mk IV revolver appears in the game as the standard sidearm of the Royal Commando force. Holds six rounds in the cylinder. Called "Webley" in the game.
De Lisle Carbine
The De Lisle Carbine appears in the game with an 11-round magazine. It is one of the best weapons in the game. Despite being suppressed, it deals more damage than any other submachine gun or rifle. Its only drawback is the low ammo capacity and the slow (bolt-action) rate of fire.
Thompson M1928
Called simply "Thompson" in the game, the M1928 is a formidable weapon. Available only with the 50-round drum magazine. Has better damage, accuracy and capacity than its German counterpart, the MP40.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III
Called simply "Lee Enfield" in the game, the Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III is the primary rifle of the Royal Marines. Available with 10-round magazines. Also capable to shoot grenades.
Bren MK II
The Bren MK II appears in the game with a 30-round magazine. It is the only light machine gun in the game and appears in the two Italian levels.
Winchester Model 1897
The Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun" appears simply as "Winchester" in the game. Erroneously holds six shells in the tubular magazine. A bayonet is attached to the front, making it the ultimate short-range weapon.
Germany
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is the only pistol and also the weakest firearm in the game. Available with the standard 8-round box magazine.
MP40
The MP40 is the preferred weapon of the Axis soldiers. In some missions it is the player's starting weapon too. Holds 32 rounds in the box magazine. The biggest advantage of this weapon is that finding ammunition for it cannot be a problem ever.
Karabiner 98k
The German Karabiner 98k bolt-action rifle appears as "KAR98" in the game. A scoped version is also present acting as a sniper rifle. That version is called "KAR98 ZF39".
MG42
The MG42 appears as a mounted machine gun in some of the missions. Has unlimited ammo.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
The Model 24 Stielhandgranate appears as "Frag Grenade" in the game. The player can carry up to five grenades.
