I know ROKA don't use Berettas and M16s, but could these soldiers actually be KATUSAs (Korean Augmentation To the US Army)?  KATUSA soldiers are still ROK Army soldiers but under US command and uses US equipment.  That would explain the US weapons as well as the equipment (such as the PASGT helmets which was not used by the ROKA).

I read on Wikipedia that JSA's Joint Security Force was originally US Army and all the Korean Contingent were actually KATUSA, don't know if that's still the case, but it would certainly explained the Korean soldiers with US equipment.--[[User:Wildcards|Wildcards]] 13:50, 21 September 2011 (CDT)

ROKA Soldiers using US weapons

I know ROKA don't use Berettas and M16s, but could these soldiers actually be KATUSAs (Korean Augmentation To the US Army)? KATUSA soldiers are still ROK Army soldiers but under US command and uses US equipment. That would explain the US weapons as well as the equipment (such as the PASGT helmets which was not used by the ROKA).
