Out of Africa is a 1985 drama starring Meryl Streep as an aristocratic wife who in the early part of the 20th century travels to Africa with her husband. There, she falls into a relationship with a daring big game hunter (Robert Redford). The film was directed by Sydney Pollack and won Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director.
