Time After Time is a 1979 fantasy film directed by Nicholas Meyer based on the novel by Karl Alexander. The film centers around a fictional version of famous author H.G. Wells (played by Malcolm McDowell) who constructs a working time machine and uses it to pursue Jack the Ripper (played by David Warner) from 1893 London to 1979 San Francisco.
