The [[M1911A1]] is the main weapon of the CPF officers. Ropeburn has one lying on his desk in Chapter 4, "Heat". Two nickel plated versions are used by Lt. Miller. The pistol erroneously holds 8 rounds instead of the standard 7-round capacity. This is possibly some M1911 variant, as it appears to have a double action trigger.

Mirror's Edge (2008)

Mirror's Edge is a single-player first person action-adventure video game developed by DICE (Battlefield series) and published by Electronic Arts. It takes place in an utopian city and the player controls Faith, a "Runner" who finds herself on the wrong side of the law.

The following weapons are used in the video game Mirror's Edge:

Colt M1911A1

An M1911A1 variant with double action trigger and 8-round magazine appears in the game. It is the main weapon of the CPF officers. Ropeburn has one lying on his desk in Chapter 4, "Heat". Two nickel plated versions are used by Lt. Miller.

Glock 18

The Glock 18 can only be found in Chapter 6, "Pirandello Kruger", when a CPF officer opens a door and fires at the player. Fires in a 3-round burst. Holds 24 rounds. It was also originally planned to be Faith's personal weapon.
This weapon is also seen in one of the loading screens, where Faith is seen disarming a soldier and dropping his gun, which has the extended 33 round magazine.

Beretta 93R

Used by the mysterious runner when fighting the player and used by Jackknife in the last chapter. The Beretta 93R is not usable by the player, but can be seen in the hands of Faith in one of the trailers.

Fabrique Nationale SCAR-L

The SCAR-L in a black finish is used by most PK security soldiers who don't have G36Cs later in the game. For some reason, this gun has a flip up rear sight that is always flipped down, which would make it very hard if not impossible to aim accurately.

NeoStead 2000

Some PK security members can be seen using these shotguns. The NeoStead 2000 Shotgun is not very powerful and may require to hit the target as many as three times before they go down.

Fabrique Nationale M249 Paratrooper

M249 Para light machine guns are used by PK security soldiers. In most large groups of soldiers (4 or more), there is usually at least one M249. This is the heaviest gun in the game and makes Faith move very slowly.
