Heckler & Koch USP Match

The Combine Civil Protection carries and uses 9x19mm Heckler & Koch USP Match pistols as their service pistols, it is first used by the CPs when they chase Gordon Freeman (the protagonist) on the rooftops of the apartment building in the chapter "Point Insertion". Later, it is used by Gordon for the first time after killing a CP with the signature crowbar, and then throughout the whole game. Oddly enough, it is never seen used by the Resistance.

Colt Python

The Colt Python is first acquired by Gordon Freeman in a Civil Protection outpost in the chapter "Water Hazard", it is one of the most damaging weapons in the whole game, it can also kill enemies from a long distance, if the player has a steady accuracy. Ammunition for this weapon is rare when you first get it, later on it becomes a little more common.

Heckler & Koch MP7A1

The Heckler & Koch MP7A1 is the main weapon for most Resistance members and Combine Soldiers, however, the first time this weapon is encountered in combat, it is used by a Civil Protection team. Unlike in real life, this MP7 has a second barrel for firing 20mm HE grenades, but before you pick them up, the grenades look like 40mm grenades, but they would have to be 20mm grenades to be fired out of that little barrel. Also, the MP7A1 in the game is mounted with a very small holographic sight that cannot be used by the player. Resistance members using this weapon sometimes throw away their MP7A1s in favor of a Combine AR2 Pulse Rifle. It even says the caliber "4.6x30mm" on the ammunition boxes.

Franchi SPAS-12

The Franchi SPAS-12 is first given to you by Father Grigori in the chapter "We don't go to Ravenholm...", it is very useful against Headcrab Zombies. In each Combine squad, there is one with a SPAS-12. At the end of the chapter entitled "Entanglement", Dr. Isaac Kleiner is shown poking his head through a door in his lab while holding a SPAS-12 shotgun. Alyx Vance uses this weapon in Half-Life 2 Episode One in a hospital. In Half-Life 2 Episode Two, there is a seperate Combine Shotgun unit using SPAS-12s. Unfortunately, Valve seems to have made the mistake of thinking the tube magazine is a second barrel that can be fired simultaneously by the player with the primary.Half-Life.

Winchester Model 1894

The Winchester 1894 is used by Father Grigori in the chapter "We don't go to Ravenholm...". Father Grigori can be killed, the player can pick up the Annabelle, but can only use it briefly as the screen fades to black when the game ends. It seems to be very powerful, and it can take down a Fast Zombie with one or two hits. The weapon is not intended to be used by the player.
