The following weapons appear in the video game World in Conflict and World in Conflict: Soviet Assault:
U.S. Army Weapons
M16A2 Rifle
The M16A2 is the standard issue weapon of the U.S. soldiers. In cut-scenes, the M16A2 is seen used by 1LT Parker, CPT Mark Bannon, CPL Anton “Ants” Rodriguez, CPL Michael “Mike” Thompson, CPT James Webb (though he uses with M203 grenade launcher) and many other characters. In-gameplay, the M16A2 is only used with M203 grenade launcher.
Mk 46 Mod 0
The Mk 46 mod 0 is used by at least one soldier in an Infantry squad. It would be more appopriate to see a FN Minimi or an M249 SAW, as the Mk 46 Mod 0 is more a special operations weapon, which also was not issued by the American military during the '80. A note of interest is that the front sights are ankward and aren't look alike a FN Minimi-based weapon.
Remington Model 700
Remington Model 700 with camo paint is used by US Sniper.
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB is mounted on HMMWVs and M1A1 Abrams tanks.
FIM-92A Stinger
FIM-92A Stinger is used by US Soldiers against helicopters.
Carl Gustav recoilless rifle
Carl Gustav recoilless rifle is used by US soldiers as AT defense.
M136 AT4
The M136 AT4 Can be seen used by American soldiers in one of the CGI trailers, though used in-game.
M203 grenade launcher
The M203 grenade launcher is mounted on every rifleman's M16A2 of an Infantry squad, also CPT James Webb uses an M16A2 with M203 grenade launcher.
M60
The M60 can be seen used by a soldier in one of the CGI trailers, though used in-game.
Franchi SPAS-12
A stock-less Franchi SPAS-12 can be seen in the intro and in one of the CGI trailers, though not used in-game.
Soviet Army Weapons
AK-47
The AK-47 is standard issue weapon of the Soviets soldiers. It is inaccurate to see the AK-47 used by Soviet soldiers, as an AK-74 would be more appropriate. Same as the American M16A2, the AK-47 is only attached with GP-25 grenade launcher.
PK Machine Gun
PKM is standard SAW for Soviets.
Note : Version mounted on vehicle is much less detailed than Machine Gunner´s one.
SVD Dragunov
SVD is Soviet sniper´s gun.
RPG-7
RPG-7 is standart soviet AT weapon in-game. Its back part is really ankwardly modeled, its just too long.
SA-7 Grail
Standart AA gun seems to be SA-7 Grail
GP-25
This grenade launcher is used by Soviet soldiers and is attached on all AK-47´s in game.
Other Weapons
Unknown Revolver
An unknown revolver is used by Seattle police officers in the beginning of the game.
