Operation Kid Brother was a 1967 comedy that was a spoof on the popular spy film genre, particularly the [[[James Bond]] series. In the film, world famous plastic surgeon and hypnotist Dr. Neil Connery (played by Neil Connery, the younger brother of James Bond actor Sean Connery) is recruited by commander Cunningham (Bernard Lee), the head of Allied Intelligence, to track down Yachuco, a girl who has some information about the plans of a daring robbery in her subconscious, who was kidnapped by THANATHOS, a criminal organization. In addition to Bernard Lee (who is better known as "M") several actors from the James Bond film series make appearances in this film including Lois Maxwell, Adolfo Celi, and Daniela Bianchi.
The movie has also gone under the titles OK Connery as well as Operation Double 007, which under the latter title was seen on the series Mystery Science Theater 3000.
The following weapons were used in the film Operation Kid Brother:
Handguns
Walther PP
Miss Maxwell (Lois Maxwell, better known to Bond fans as Miss Moneypenny) pulls a Walther PP to try to shoot a remote-controlled car rigged with explosives heading towards the plane containing Ward Jones (Nando Angelini).
Luger P08
Alpha (Anthony Dawson, who is known to Bond fans as Blofeld in From Russia with Love and Thunderball) gives a Luger P08 to Gamma (Mario Soria) and orders him to commit suicide. Gamma instead turns the gun at Alpha, only to find out that the gun is empty and that the water he drunk earlier was poisoned. Maya (Daniela Bianchi, better known to Bond fans as Tatiana Romanova in From Russia with Love) shoots an assassin, who tries to kill Connery, with a silenced Luger. During the final battle inside the THANATHOS base Juan (Franco Giacobini) also carries a Luger, which briefly turns into an Astra 400 Kurt (Guido Lolobrigida), Thair's henchman, also carries a Luger.
Note: Both Gamma's death and the scene where Maya shoots the assassin were cut from the MST3K version because of time constraints.
Astra 400
When THANATHOS utilizes a device that makes all mechanical objects useless, the guards at the base and the agents storming the base all use bows or spear guns, except Juan who holds a useless Luger. The Luger, however turns into an Astra 400 at one point.
M1911A1
When the agents attack the THANATHOS villa, Juan uses a Colt M1911A1 to shoot Mildred (Agata Flori), who also has the same type of pistol. Earlier the guard who looks after Yachuko also has a Colt. Later, Connery also has a Colt, but he gets disarmed before he can use it.
Submachine Guns
M3 "Grease Gun"
The THANATOS guards at the Spanish villa as well as the agents attacking it are armed with M3 "Grease Gun"s.
Other
Flamethrower
Some agents attacking the villa use flamethrowers disguised as a pesticide sprayer.
Unidentified Machine Gun
When the hypnotized Kurt chases Thair (Adolfo Celi) on Thair's boat, he uses a group of remote controlled MGs hidden in the ceiling to kill Kurt.
