The Killer Elite was a 1975 thriller directed by Sam Peckinpah that starred James Caan as Mike Locken, a member of a mercenary organization that worked for a mysterious communications corporation. After a betrayal that left him disabled, Locken decides to recruit some of his former associates to take a job in order to exact revenge. The film co-stars Robert Duvall, Bo Hopkins, and Burt Young. Not to be confused with the 2011 Jason Statham thriller Killer Elite.
The following weapons were used in the film The Killer Elite:
(Fake) Uzi (mocked up MAC-10)
Jerome Miller (Bo Hopkins) is seen using a MAC-10 that has been visually modified to resemble the Uzi. The SMG is fitted with Uzi barrels, front and rear sights, and a folding stock. Similar prop weapons were used in several other Hollywood movies, including The Dogs of War and Stripes.
MAC-10
Unmodified MAC-10's are seen used by Mike Locken (James Caan) and Mac (Burt Young).
Colt M1911A1
A bright nickel Colt M1911A1 is carried by Mac (Burt Young).
Star Model B
Jerome shoots a uniformed officer who was armed with a Star Model B pistol. When Locken asks why he did that, Jerome says that SFPD only carries .38 revolvers and identified the handgun as a "Star 9mm".
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Locken also carries the Smith & Wesson Model 36.
