The Longest Yard is the 2005 remake of the 1974 Burt Reynolds sports film. Adam Sandler takes over the role of Paul "Wrecking" Crewe in the film, which also co-stars Chris Rock, James Cromwell, William Fichtner and Burt Reynolds in a different role.
